Sum and Substance
Discovering Srila Prabhupada's Instructions on Spontaneous Devotional Service-
One who has not yet developed interest in Krsna consciousness should give up all material motives and train his mind by following the progressive regulative principles, namely chanting and remembering Krsna and His name, form, quality, pastimes and so forth. In this way, after developing a taste for such things, one should try to live in
Vrindavana and pass his time constantly remembering Krsnas name, fame, pastimes and qualities under the direction and protection of an expert devotee. This is the sum and substance of all instruction regarding the cultivation of devotional service.

Srila Prabhupada Advocates Rasa-Katha
This short article responds to the GBCZs misgivings about Om Visnupad 108 Srila
Bhaktivedanta Narayan Maharajas preaching method. The GBC position paper against Srila
Maharaj contains following verdict: "We have premonitions of disaster when we see
someone liberally initiate many unqualified people and then immerse those same people
in a culture in which rasika topics are a central focus"
According to the present GBC advice newly initiated devotees shouldn't hear
rasa-katha or radha-krishna-lila. This erroneous attitude fades away in the light of
Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj's clear instruction.

We Are Old Friends
Dear Tamal Krsna Maharaj, Dandavats. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to
Sri Guru and Gouranga. I am sorry that I missed you in Soho St. Temple. I hope your disciple
gave you my note. You did not call me in Birmingham. We are old friends Maharaj. We have
served Srila Prabhupada together for many years, and I have rendered personal service to your
good self. I was dismayed to hear a recent lecture you gave in Fiji, obviously directed at
certain observations that Srila Narayan Maharaj has made about karma misra bhakti and
vaiddhi bhakti as it is practiced in many ISKCON centers, and taught by yourself.

H.H. Satsvarupa Maharaja Glorifies Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja
The following is an unreleased account written by H.H. Satsvarupa Maharaja of
a number of days spent in Vrndavana during which he was able experience the extreme
good fortune of acting as host to my divine spiritual master om visnupada paramahamsa
parivrajakacarya astottara-sata Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja. Having
written it, H.H. Satsvarupa Maharaja gave copies of it to a number of his ISKCON guru
godbrothers who, at the time, were also accepting Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana
Maharaja in the capacity of their siksa guru. However, when, after some time, H.H.
Satsvarupa Maharaja gave up his connection with Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja,
he sent urgent messages to all of those godbrothers to whom he had earlier given copies
of the Vrndavana journal, requesting them to destroy their copies.

IInd Letter From Puru Das Adhikari on 8th June 1998
Dear Sridam Prabhuji, Hare Krishna. All glories to Sri Guru and Gouranga. I am so glad that my
second letter was acceptable. Did Srila Gurudeva say anything? Here is appreciation #3. It is
a section of a letter written to a Godbrother and his wife, whom I recently visited. They have
Maharaj's books and have enthusiastically attended his sat-sanga. I don't have permission to re-print
my whole letter to them, and they still maintain some affiliation with the local iskcon temple.

The Truth About Srila B.V.Narayan Maharaja Parts I-IV
Dear Vaisnavas and aspirants to the Gaudiya path, Please accept my dandavat pranams. All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga!
Please do not read the following paper, unless you are fully prepared to accept the consequences. Every Vaisnava that has read this paper has
developed a clear and balanced picture of all the issues with regard to the alleged "controversy" surrounding Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayan Maharaja, the
natural successor to Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in the Gaudiya Vaisnava guru parampara.
